It’s Quiche! For Breakfast! (or brunch… or dinner)

This quiche recipe takes a few minutes of prep, and results in a delectable, savory egg pie. A true brunch classic.

Bacon, Swiss, and Spinach Quiche

Ingredients

  • 9" pie crust
  • 1 lb bacon
  • 2 c baby spinach, chopped and tightly packed
  • c Swiss
  • c heavy cream
  • 6 large eggs
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375ºF. Cook the bacon, and set aside to drain.
  • Prepare pie dish, by laying the pie crust and crimping the edges.
  • Add eggs, cream, salt, and pepper to a medium bowl, and mix thoroughly.
  • Crumble bacon, and add it to the pie crust. Layer spinach and shredded cheese on top. Pour the egg and cream mixture over your layered ingredients.
  • Bake for 25-35 minutes, or until egg is fully cooked and top is golden brown. Let it cool briefly, and serve.
